      Mrs. Mary L. Gayman, 73, died at her home, 131 W. McCreight Ave., at 6:15 a.m. Thursday. She leaves her husband, Charles; two sons, Lloyd E. of this city, former superintendent of the Ohio Pythian Children's Home, and Ernest C. of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Frank Manessier of Hillsboro, O., and Victor of Hamilton, O., and three grandchildren.

      She was a member of the First Baptist Church of this city, and of Anna A. Gordon Chapter, W. C. T. U. She was born in Gallipolis, O.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the residence. Burial will be made in Ferncliff Cemetery, Rev. Albert V. Lawson, pastor of the church, will have charge of the funeral services.

      The funeral of Mrs. Josephine Mannassier [sic] was held at the Presbyterian church here on May 13, 1910, Rev. Murphy, of West Union, officiating. Her death occurred at the home of Charles Gayman and wife, of West Union. A large concourse of relatives and friends from that place were in attendance, showing their sympathy for the bereaved. A beautiful funeral sermon was preached by her pastor, choosing for his subject the "Resurrection." The body was taken to the Ebenezer cemetery for burial by the side of her husband, whose death occurred in 1867. She leaves 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Two sons, Victor and Frank Mannassier [sic], two daughters, Mrs. Melvina Carey, of Buford, and Mrs. Mary Gayman, of West Union.
